"IT for better procurement in Kyrgyzstan" hackathon
On November 4 and 5, 2023, Bishkek will host the DT4CE Hackathon, organized by Transparency International in partnership with the International University of the Kyrgyz Republic and supported by the Delegation of the European Union to the Kyrgyz Republic.

Theme of the hackathon: 
“Digital Technologies for Civic Empowerment (DT4CE) in Kyrgyzstan”. 

Namee of the hackathon: 
“IT for better public procurement in Kyrgyzstan”.
 
The main goal is to involve citizens in interaction with the state and simplify the interaction of citizens with the state through the use of digital technologies

"IT for better laws in Kyrgyzstan" hackathon
On September 23 and 24, 2023, Bishkek will host the DT4CE Hackathon, organized by Transparency International in partnership with the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn and supported by the Delegation of the European Union to the Kyrgyz Republic. 
 
Theme of the hackathon was: 
“Digital Technologies for Citizen Empowerment (DT4CE) in Kyrgyzstan”. 

Name of the hackathon:
“IT for Better Laws in Kyrgyzstan”.
 
The main goal is to involve citizens in interaction with the state and simplify the interaction of citizens with the state through the use of digital technologies

On June 17 and 18, 2023 in Bishkek there will be held “DT4CE” Hackathon organized by Transparency International in partnership with Codify Academy LLC with the support of the Delegation of the European Union to the Kyrgyz Republic.
 
The hackathon is organized within the framework of the project “Digital Technologies for Civic Empowerment (DT4CE) in Kyrgyzstan” and the development of an electronic platform to simplify the interaction of citizens with the state in the Kyrgyz Republic.
 
The name of the hackathon is “Let'sGoDigital 3.0.”. 
 
The main goal is to involve citizens in interaction with the state and simplify the interaction of citizens with the state through the use of digital technologies

On 5 and 6 May 2023, Bishkek will host the DT4CE Hackathon, organized by Transparency International in partnership with the Kyrgyz State Technical University and supported by the Delegation of the European Union to the Kyrgyz Republic.
 
The hackathon is organized within the framework of the project “Digital Technologies for Civic Empowerment (DT4CE) in Kyrgyzstan” and the launch of a new electronic platform for improving road infrastructure in the Kyrgyz Republic.
 
The theme of the Hackathon is “ICT for better roads in Kyrgyzstan”.
 
The main objective is to empower civil society to improve road infrastructure through digital technologies.

Corruption Perceptions Index 2022: Kyrgyzstan remained in the same place as last year with 27 points out of 100.
Transparency International has published the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) for 2022. Kyrgyzstan scored 27 points out of 100, the same as last year, and ranked 140th out of 185 countries (last year there were 183 countries).  Transparency International emphasizes that the position of places is not the main thing in this ranking, as the number of countries can increase or decrease, and the main indicator in this ranking is the number of points received.

ANALYSIS OF THE OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT PORTAL
Transparency International Kyrgyzstan conducted an assessment of the state web platform on public procurement, where disadvantages and advantages of the web portal were assessed. The study analyzed "general problems of the web portal", "risks associated with technical parameters", "risks associated with filling the content of the portal", and also analyzed some of the advantages of the web portal.
